An extention limit is also somthing that is a feature to be added, not a bug. I am not saying Fruit is bug free but it is good enough to sell in my opinion and has a very stable search. I have seen Shredder prune out a Rook for Pawn sac that caused it to miss its move to prevent checkmate. Even though Fruit, Crafty, and Scorpio all saw the move right away I do not consider Shredder to have a buggy search. No chess program does every move right.
