Paul, Thanks for that - the fact that its manual explains why, although I do always check the "send evaluations" box whenever I load an engine, I still don't regularly get a message about my kn/s (although I do see the regular green messages about my opponents?). Now you've explained this, I'll cut and paste my opponents eveluation back to them occasionally. It's a shame there isn't an automated way of seeing it, as I'm certian that kn/s is a major affecting the outcome of engine-engine matches on CB - more so that which engine is stronger or who has the better book etc ? eg. using Shredder 9 on my (not fast) hardware I can only get 180kn/s, whereas others can get 400kn/s and under those circumstances I've never got S9 to win a game yet ! Uisng Fritz 8 I get 550 kn/s, but hey et 1,200 kn/s !Better start saving for a beter PC ! Regards, Mark
