I think the author could probably prevent anyone from finding out, too. My policy now is not to buy until the program has proven itself. I delay a purchase by at least two months so that others can make report and bugs be fixed. Fortunately, the field as a whole is advancing (e.g., Fruit), so it becomes less possible to do nothing and still sell programs. Roger
