Peter,

you are confusing things. The "tournaments" you are mentioning were
championships of Argentine for instance. And know what? Although SHREDDER "won",
the real winner was the best human chessplayer. Hear a bell ring? No? Then I
help you out. For the human players it was kind of fun to play the machine.
Probably they got a good sponsor tip for their tournament. We had the same here
in Europe in case of a Dutch championship. There of course we had participants
who refused to play the machine (FRITZ) and played nonsense and lost in 15 moves
or such some...
