The Dual core is nice if you have software that's threaded or can make use of a second processor. Otherwise you won't notice much difference. If you plan on using this for chess, then you'll need the SMP versions of the engine "Deep" whatever. Or with crafty you need to have it compiled SMP/Posix and CPU count to 2. Also if you plan to run matches between engines, then each could have it's own cpu for pondering. Josh
