Depends on how smart your install program was. Many will leave newer files in place and not over-write them. Others blindly over-write. In either case, the version shown would be 8.0.8. Can you run a test position to determine your install's status? There must be some improved play with the newer version, surely. A 'fc' (DOS binary file comparison) between your current files and those of the original CD, might be another clue. How do the directory of files between the HD and the CD compare? Dave
