[D]5rk1/6pp/4pbq1/1p1p1p1r/p1pPnPn1/P1P1PNP1/RP2Q1RP/4BNK1 b - - 0 80 Time control is not relevant because the program need to detect the draw before getting this position by evaluation and not after getting it. Note that I am not talking of code to avoid closed position that may be good only against weak opponents but about code to evaluate them correctly and the problem can be also in comp-comp games when Fritz is going to choose to get this type of position and not to get an endgame with a pawn advantage that it can win. If I am wrong and Fritz9 can win Fruit2.1 with black from the position that I posted in some time control then I am interested in the game(there was a reason that I choose fruit because fruit evaluation is only 0.78 for black and it will probably not create weaknesses to get out of this position).
