Hi Steve,

The Centrino *is* much faster than the G5, but not quite *that* much
faster.  This turns out to be yet another example of how the hash table size
can influence the result.  I tested with 32 MB, and you with 128 MB.  With only
32 MB, Glaurung needs one ply extra before it finds Rxh6.

With 128 MB, Glaurung finds Rxh6 after 33 seconds on the 1.8 GHz G5.
The Celeron is about twice as fast, which is not too far from what I
expected.
