Whilst reading up on some of the games of Zappa in the World Computer Chess
Championship I came across this position which the author says Zappa found but
that other programmes could not.Out of curiousity I put the position to my
Mephisto Lyon and noted that it initially can't even find Be8. It looks at Nd4
for 2min 59sec but then selects Re1-e6.Admittedly the score it gives is 0.00
but all the follow up moves are there.Actually it doesn't give White a
reasonable positive score until 34 Nf5 (+1.66)but nonetheless I was surprised
that it did this well given the complexity of the position. Then again I expect
there's a simple explanation for how it found the combination.

PS I put the position to Junior 9 but the best it can come up with is Be8.
