Your comments are superficial IMHO. 24.b4 followed by 25.Qh5 was not good at
all.
With the Bishop pair, the better pawn structure and the strong knight at f5
white had practically a won position before move 24.
After the forced moves 25...Ndf6 26.Qg6 Kh8 27.Bxf7 black was greedy and took
the pawn on e4 which gave white the chance to a nice finish.
Yet after 27...Bc5! 28.Kh2 (28.Bxb2 Bxf2+)Nxe4 29.Nxh6 Nd6 30.Bg8 Nf6
white is not better.
Thus 24.b4 followed by 25.Qh5 was a mistake.
