Blitz can be usefull. My ComBase has over 16000 Blitz-games. I should use more pointers to indicate sarcasm perhaps. But wouldn't you agree that an engine's performance at long tc might give a better indication at its analytical usefulness? (for corr. chess e.g.) I still hold Blitz-tourneys, just because they're fun to watch.
