Hiarcs UCI Mac uses some kind of hardware registration, too, and I assume the Windows version doesn't, but I don't know (correct me). I realized this after changing the hostname of my system I had to apply for a new registration key because Hiarcs UCI went back to unregistered mode. :( Thex fixed the hostname issue, but it is still restricted to one hardware or OS. (doesn't work on my G5 at work) regards Andy
