Hello Alex,

I want to provide a little food for thought.

I accept some of your points but the logical extension of it is that if there
are good thieves among us then we should not protect software at all.

In fact, as the thieves get better then the protection should get less and
less...

I say we understand why Fabien is doing this.  We do not have to like it and as
such we may not buy Fruit but the "they are going to break it anyway" argument
is not a reason not to try to protect intellectual property.

You do not see many persons leaving their cars unprotected despite the rate of
motor car theft, do you?  Intellectual property is no less valuable.  Sometimes
I wonder if that is appreciated.

You are right in most of what you say but then what - throw our hands up and
submit our sensibilities to the lowest common denominator?

I think not.
