Based upon the latest engineering reports, The PIII is only a slightly improved
PII. The major changes is the handling of graphics and sound routines built into
the chip. These were made to run faster through hardware coding.
Most 400 or 450 probably could be tweeked to run at 500. After all, if they
state that it will run at 450, they are quoting a safe speed, not the fastest
that the chip could be made to run at.
