Interesting idea. In this case Fabien may do the best by deciding to sell fruit only if enough customers buy it. He can say something like this: You can preorder fruit but you will not get it and not pay for it before 1000 customers perorder. After 1000 customers prorder they are allowed to do with it everything that they want including giving it to friends so it is practically going to be free unless no customer is going to do it free. There is a clear reason for people to preorder(otherwise there is not going to be new fruit that they can get and if everyone wait that other will preorder for him then new fruit is not going to be released). Note that I do not know if that reason is good enough to find 1000 customers and I do not know if some programmer tried to sell a program by that way. I can add about that point that it is sad that people are too jealous and they complain if a company reduce the price after they bought some program. I think that a company has full right to do it if they think that they can earn more money by that way and there is no reason to complain. If I buy something then I buy it because I think that it is a good deal. If other people can get better deal later then it is good for them and I see no reason to complain. Uri
