Upon purchase you get a licence code and a download link (you can buy a CD as well if you want). That code can be used on any machine. Ruffian does have a CD check though. No download link and licence code there. In all cases you can install them an multiple machines. I don't claim it is legal. I don't know. I never read licence agreements when I use the program on only one machine anyway.
