Subject: is Fruit WCCC05 really stronger than Fruit 2.1?

Question: Is Fruit 2.2 exact the same engine that compete in WCCC'05 in
Reykjavik?

Answer: No it isn't. Fabien has added many features (multi-variation mode,
Chess960 etc.) so the code isn't the same anymore. However regarding playing
strength they should be similiar since no pstrength-related code has been
changed.

If their is no change in playing strength code ? where is the 70 elo improvement
from?
