I find that both surprising and interesting. I assumed that there would be a
degree of mutual help and information exchange at a specialist gathering such as
WCCC. Fabien has been very open with his stuff and if I was author of Zappa, I
would therefore have been happy to have shared my code with him. Giving him a
copy of my executable would have been automatic and a matter of courtesy.

I would also have considered Professor Hyatt, another very generous man.

Unless of course Fabien was not interested.
