Christos, Thanks for clarifying. One of the reasons I asked was that the following is an extact from the publicity advertising DF8. ".... Deep Fritz 8 will now amaze you on either a single or multi-processor computer system. Deep Fritz 8 will run on computers with between one and eight processors. On a dual system the increase in speed is around 85% compared to a single processor of equivalent speed. But even if you have a single processor system the playing strength is greater than that of the regular Fritz 8. However, reading it more closely I guess it only claims that DF8 on single processor is stronger than regular F8, not sronger than F8 Bilbao. Thanks again for your help, Mark
