>questions: >1)Does it mean that Fruit WCCC has both faster processor and more RAM? yes >2)Is there a problem for fruit to use the 40Mhz ARM2 processor wirh 1 MB RAM? yes it is a problem the Tasc is a dedicated computer that really cannot be changed with a different Engine the R40 (like all dedicated computers) has a fixed Eprom which contains the Engine and to change the Eprom is the same thing as changing or modifying the computer itself i would not be interested to do this even if possible while the Resurrection is a new concept entirely for dedicated chess computers where new Engines can be installed into it via a serial port built into the module itself this is the very first dedicated computer that can do this Steve
