Nonsense 11...h5 is very logical for computer to play. It increase the mobility of the rook at h8 so there is no reason for computers not to play it. >Kasparov said there is no reason for a computer program to score h5 in this >position as Deep Blue did, and then choose this as its best move. "I do not >understand". "There is no threat with 11...h5". Tell Kasparov that it is better if he read Fruit2.1's evaluation. Maybe he will understand the reason for that move after it. I did not read most of it but even without reading most of it I have no problem to understand that h5 increase the mobility of the rook h8 and may give black some positive score of pawn storm in case that whute castle kingside. Maybe it is not enough to convince kasparov and in this case he should read more from fruit2.1's code and maybe he is going to apologize about that claim(it is the best thing that he can do). >"Computers cannot make a purely positional move". Nonsense. There is no definition for purely positional moves and I see no reason to assume that computers cannot make what kasparov defines as purely positional moves. Uri
