Depends on your hardware.
If you have a 128 MB GFX card (DX 9 complient), with a decent CPU, you can have
friggin good 3D displays... (With Hires 3D board options etc)

I actually like to play vs the Turk and Mia...(powered by "BamBam the
ferocious")
The latter has worse pieces, but a nice voice (If female robots turn you on...)

With a 256 MB card, you can have all the textures and lightings (reflections) at
'extreme', and I guess you can't get closer to a 'real board'.

I thought the 3D wooden board of Shredder9 was already decent enough though.
