Subject: iBase v1.0 for Arena Released

Hello Everyone,

Dr. Wael Deeb's new book iBase 1.0 is available for download at the Exactachess
website.

Goto http://www.exactachess.com and you will find it in the download section.

Here in Wael's own words is a description of the opening book

==========================================
iBase + is my second attempt at creating a professional opening library for
Arena. It has been under development since December 2004.

iBase+ is a precisely created combination of classical and modern opening lines
which were optimized using strong commercial engines such as Shredder, The King
3.33, etc.

One of the concepts of iBase+ is to avoid positions which lead directly to the
endgame phase and preventing engines from showing their tactical and stratigical
abilities in the middlegame.

In general,the opening library is limited to 24 halfmoves in it's current
edition.

Some of the opening systems is enhaced to 39 halfmoves and this will be the
tendency in the future releases.
At a regular periods it will be updated with additional modules representing
particular opening systems.

Regards

Dr. Wael Deeb

===============================

Thank you very much Wael.

Regards

Chris
