I did not hear about a test suite for finding mate so I suggest to generate one in this way: take the last 100 games in the ssdf games and give computers to analyze all the positions in the games when one side won You can begin to analyze the last move of the winning side continue with the previous move of the winning side and continue in this way unless the program cannot find a mate in at least x minutes. You can go to the next game when the program cannot find a mate in at least x minutes. Uri
