The initial evaluation of computer programs might be 0.00, but it changes later.
For example if we try
27.Bf4 Qa6 28.Rg4 Nxd5 29.exd5 Rxb1 30.Rxg6 fxg6 31.Qxg6 Kf8 32.Qxb1 Rxd5
{28... Rxb1 29.Rh4 Rxe1 30.Kh2 Rh5 31.Rxh5 gxh5 32.Bxd6 Bxd5 33.exd5}
27.Bf4 Qd4 28.Rxg6 fxg6 29.Qxg6 Kf8 30.Nf3 Qxe4 31.Qf6
27.Bf4 Nxd5 28.Rxg6 fxg6 29.Qxg6 Kh8 30.exd5 Rxe1 31.Kh2 Raxb1 32.Bg5 Qxf2
33.Bf6 Qxf6 34.Qxf6 Kh7 35.Qf7 Kh6 36.Qf8 Kh7 37.Qxd6 Rxb2 38.Qc7 Kg6 39.Qg3 Kf7
40.Qxe1
27.Bf4 Re7 28.Be3 Qc7 29.Bd4
White seems to be playing for a win (although I admit the line after 27...Nxd5
is not very convincing, but there might be something better for white)
So I think Anand searched indeed deeper than computers today

Christos
