I'm not sure if any computer will eventually play this move, but it is not
impossible. One of the strengths of Anand's move may be that 23..Nxe1 may be the
only move that promises any counterchances, so Qd2 is a move with "singularity"
:) The computers will not include that in their eval -or do they, they can
calculate such moves deeper also?- but for the grandmaster sitting in his small
study it makes deep home preparation easier and offers chances for the opponent
to go wrong, as Adams promptly did.
I let a Pro Deo Vulcan analyse the position after 23.Qd2, eventually the score
(from Black's viewpoint) did go a little under zero but not by much.
