Hi all, As a father of three children playing chess from time to time I decided yesterday to organise a internal family challenge againt weak engines. This challenge is supposed to renew interest in chess during World championship in Argentina ! ;-) My search of those engines in CSS ratinglists or WBEC was a little disapointing yesterday evening. Still to strong ! In fact I would like to propose a challenge with reference to ELO level and I was looking for engines playing in the level 1000 - 1400. So my questions : 1) How to find them ? (easy I suppose) 2) How to parameter them in order to be as close as possible of my target ELO ? Thanks beforehand for your help, JYL57, Happy owner of an old Mephisto II P.S : My attempt yesterday to decrease Fruit 2.1 to 1% of force and allow only 1 Mo of hachtable and 1 sec of time reflexion resulted in the best announcing mat in 8 to my son ! :-((
