Each to their own, and we (that includes the ICGA) don't approve of plagarism.

The older ChessBase GUI's do not protect/hide how the engines implement the
rules. Take Fritz9 and use it inside ChessBase 8.0 or below and you will see
that the most fundamental part of chess engine programming is not implemented.

They have been told numerous times about this to no avail......
