Subject: test move anand-adams: 23. Qd2!

in anand-adams, round 3 of the fide wch, anand uncorked the novelty 23. Qd2!
according to chessbase, this was some home preparation of his which he did 7
years ago - and he remembered it!

any engines to find this move (instead of the obvious Be3)?

[D] r3rbk1/1b3p2/1q1p2pp/1p1P1N2/1np1P3/3n1NRP/1P3PP1/1BBQR1K1 w - - 2 23

adams cracked quickly under the pressure (see PGN in the end), perhaps Qd2 is
just an interesting move which poses a lot of problems for black but in the end
leads to a draw (with lines like 23...Nxe1 24. Nxe1 Ra1 25. Nxh6+ Bxh6 26. Qxh6
Re5 27. Bf4 Nxd5 28. Rxg6+ and perpetual) - i don't know.

cheers
  martin
