as soon as the R40 displayed this move in its search screen i knew this was
gonna get ugly
you just cant allow a program as tactically strong as Fruit coupled with the
deeper searching ability to expose your King in this way
the R40 is happy enough to do it though ...evaluating the resulting Bishop sac
as in its favor by +.65

Bxg3 19.fxg3 Qxg3 20.Ke2 Ng6 21.Rf1 a6 22.Bd3 Rfe8 23.Nc2 Bxd3+ 24.Kxd3 Ne5+
25.Ke2 Nc4

[D]r3r1k1/1p3ppp/p7/3p4/Q1n5/2P1B1qP/PPN1K3/R4R2 w - - 0 26

even before this move is made the R40 thinks its position is OK with a PV of
-.17
then after this move and about 15 seconds into the search the PV drops to -3.36

the game is really over here but i include the rest of the game score for
completeness
what follows is not for the faint of heart
parental guidance is advised

26.Rf3 Qg2+ 27.Rf2 Qxh3 28.Rf3 Qg2+ 29.Rf2 Qg4+ 30.Rf3 Re4
31.b4 Rae8 32.Kf2 Nb2 33.Qxe8+ Rxe8 34.Nd4 Nd3+ 35.Ke2 Nxb4 36.Kd2 Qg2+
37.Bf2 Re4 38.Re1 Nxa2 39.Kd3 f5 40.Rxf5 Rxe1 41.Bxe1 Qe4+ 42.Kd2 Nxc3
43.Nc2 Qxf5 44.Kxc3 d4+ 45.Kd2 h5 0-1

FINAL POSITION

[D]6k1/1p4p1/p7/5q1p/3p4/8/2NK4/4B3 w - h6 0 46

both computers had ample time left on the clock and the Tasc was showing a PV
of -11.97
so i resigned for it in this position

with this game the Res Fruit 05 is guaranteed at least a draw in the match

Match Continues Regards
Steve
