You dislike four different windows?? Maybe you should use Windows then, because usually Linux and Mac interfaces are using SDI not MDI for GUI-s. This is true for scid, gimp and almost all other Linux software, and requests for implementing MDI mode are also usually denied, because MDI is devil. Most GUI experts are saying this. But i know that users with heavy Windows background still like MDI. Btw. i like the fact that interface is written in java too :) I have done some of my own projects in java in linux with eclipse, and decided to avoid both gtk and qt. Java is ok. Kunnar
