I am having exactly the same issues. I have followed the instructions from previous threads a)disable cb book by unchecking "use book" and "tournament book" b) check "own book" in the engine parameters and ensure that book.bin is filled. c) own book is in the same directory as the engine file but from move one the engine begins to calculate rather than follow any kind of book sequence, even for standard openings like sicilian or d4 or e4. This means that is a 3-5 minute blitz game, you get 30 to 40 seconds behind in the game. I raised this in an earlier thread and was advised that it is possible to use Fruit 2.2 own book in CB GUI to play in CB engine games, but as explained above it does not work for this engine. This is why I originally asked in my thread yesterday what alternative .ctg people are using on CB with Fruit 2.2. I only have Fruit-As3.ctg but don't seem to be getting very good results.
