You are correct that the main strenght of engines lies in 'time', or if I may translate it: grabbing the initiative; making use of the pieces to put pressure on weak squares/pieces etc. and not giving the opponent time to recover. Correct me if I'm wrong please. One point I have to disagree with however, is that RJ Fischer did bad in the Kings-Indian. I believe it was his most played opening against 1.d4 -which is not a proof that he excelled in it of course- but I'll try to find out his statistics on this opening. His score with white vs the French might be below par, will look that up also. (Can't recall any black games he played with the French to my disgrace) Regards and thanks, Rick
