Hello chess fans . Im kinda new to this site ! So bare with me . I have a dual amd 2400 pc with 2 giga ram , shredder 9 interface updated to gui 8 version 26. I run my programs at playchess.com and they are fritz 5,6,7,8,9,fritz in bahrain ,shredder 6,7,8,9 , deep shredder 9 , deep fritz 7 , 8 , deep junior 6, 7 , Chess tiger 14 &15 ,junior 7 ,8 ,9 .hiarcs 7,8,9 ! i know this might sound like a guy just naming programs but i ashure you i have them all :) I am a major fan of computer chess !Anyways enough of that ! I recently ran a tournament with all these programs and there engine. All were using there own book and engine . I also threw in strong ameateur programs like zappa 1.0 & 1.1 along with fruit 2.1 & 2.2 and of course my fav toga II 1.0 . all engines were using the time controll 5+5 min games knockout tournament 32 hash and there own book ! What was amazing is first place went to Frit In Bahrain , Second was Tioga II 1.0 and third went to Shredder 9. Was shocked that a limited edition program fritz in bahrain can still whip some butt :) I have all the games saved . But i dont know how to put it in pgn form. Can someone explain this to me :) i will be running tournaments left and right on my computer ! Also playing at playchess.com :)
