Is the engine in an infinite loop or does it stop after so many lines? I would fix that in any case: Infinite loop: When the program crashes in that position, it is likely to crash in other positions too. So it needs to get fixed. Stop after so many lines: On my machine, when the engine sends these lines to arena very fast, the CPU usage will be very low and it will take about 30 seconds to finish. This is likely to happen in other positions too, and because this may also happen in other positions, I would fix it to avoid losses on time.
