Yes I did it plenty of times switching the sparc and brute force back and forth. But my board was sparc ready, not upgraded later. The sparc module is a tight fit. I use my fingernails where the edge of the fan grill is, and pull straight back supporting the board with my tumbs from the bottom. Having said that after leaving the sparc on analize mode overnight, the solder points got separated again due the heat. So I am back to where I have started. Damn surface mount cpu is a pain in the butt. Murat :.
