If one bought a few commercially available databases of games and combined them into a huge pgn file (or other database format) and resold them, would one be breaking any copyright laws (as presumably the games aren't copyrighted, though the commercial company probably spent a lot of time compiling and checking the games)? P.S. I have no plans to do this :)
