Maybe they think that the history pruning is not good for fruit at long time control.:-( Seriously,I have no time to test it in games but I found that fruit could avoid some mistakes that it did in games if you reduce history pruning threshold from 70 to 50. see http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?452947 see also my posts in http://wbforum.volker-pittlik.name/viewtopic.php?t=3552&start=40 I think that it may be interesting if people test reducing history pruning threshold in long time control games for fruit. I do not know if reducing history threshold make fruit stronger in long time control but the fact that fruit can avoid some errors with reducing threshold suggest that people should test it. Uri
