Hi Steve,

I have both, a Sparc and a non-Sparc Renaissance but never tried changing the
modules. As far as I know the power supply in the Sparc-Renaissance is different
since it needs more energy. So, if this is true, you might damage the non-Sparc
module if plugging into the Sparc-board. The other way round (Sparc module into
the not prepared board) shouldn't damage anything but shouldn't work either.

To be honest, I don't have the guts to test the first version of this
experiment...
