Manohararajah. V-Man says Rajah will be playing more on ICC now, since he's got an old P166 hooked up for that purpose, more or less permanently. Rajah competed at Aegon 97, with a score of 3.5/6. It uses the 0x88 board, and you can read more about it in the ICCAJ, vol 20, #2. The only new high was recorded by Amateur (2542). Hossa continues to be the most volatile program, and this week was also the most active with 414 blitz games played. u2600 Position of the Week I didn't receive any positions for analysis this week, so I'll just post an old one that most of you may know. These kinds of positions are more interesting when they come from current members' games, but I guess good ones are hard to come by. This is from the game Nunn - Nimzo, Aegon 93. To see Nimzo's analysis, check out the ICCAJ Donninger article on null-move. r1b1kb1r/1p1p1ppp/pqn1p3/8/3PP3/3BB3/PP3PPP/RN1Q1RK1 w kq - Amateur 0.93, Mac g3/300... ply score time nodes n/s pv 2 53 0.02 1468 44040 3 130 0.04 1868 28020 b3 Nxd4 Bxa6 Rxa6 4 132 0.09 4730 31500 b3 Nxd4 Bxa6 Nf3 Qxf3 Qxa6 5 126 0.23 14534 37860 b3 Nxd4 Bxa6 Qxa6 Qxd4 Qd6 Qc4 6 97 0.59 43054 43740 b3 Nxd4 Bxa6 Bc5 Bc4 Kg8 Nc3 7 66 3.08 137011 43680 b3 Nxd4 Nd2 d5 Pxd5 Pxd5 Qh5 Be6 Bxh7 7 68 5.00 220429 44040 Qd2 Nxd4 Nc3 Bb4 a3 Ba5 b4 7 80 6.12 279401 45060 Nc3 Qxb2 Na4 Qb4 Rb1 Qd6 e5 7 88 7.49 355916 45480 Na3 Qxb2 Nc4 Qb4 Rb1 Qc3 Rc1 8 95 13.11 599900 45480 Na3 Qxb2 Nc4 Qc3 Nb6 Rb8 Rc1 8 115 22.37 1061349 46920 b3 Nxd4 Bxa6 Bc5 Bc4 Kg8 Nc3 Nc6 Bf4 9 99 44.44 2110720 47160 b3 Nxd4 Bxa6 Bc5 Bc4 Kg8 Nc3 Qd6 Qg4 Ra3 9 101 97.29 4614098 47280 Na3 Qxb2 Nc4 Qb4 Rb1 Qe7 Nb6 Rb8 9 201 132.16 6581361 49740 d5 Nd4 Pxe6 Qxb2 Pxf7 Kxf7 Nd2 Ne2
