I have been using Chess Master to improve my game for quite a while now.

The lessons that CM offers, the tutorials by Josh Waitzkin, and the seemingly
endless "level" personalities that you can play against make it the best product
to improve your overall game.

If you are looking for opening training, download SCID, a monster database, ECO
classify them, and learn with Crafty.
