I tried Shredder9 on my Gentoo x86_64 bit Linux w/o any problems running either of these: Blackdown 1.4.2 Sun Java 1.4.2_09 Sun Java 1.5.0 Must be your Linux distro that play tricks on you. regards Andy PS: Strangely Shredder9 is the first Java app, that runs faster on my Mac than on the Linux box. (And the Mac is 10x slower in CPU speed). This not the case for other apps as e.g. Jose.
