This seems unusual to me. Although, It sometimes happens in human tournaments. This can normally be explained by the player with the white pieces playing for the maximum. Concerning engines there has to be another reason. I see you are using the 5 move book. Could this data be used to claim that the engines don't play the openings very well? Regards Tony
