    Yes.. it's not a Bug. If you click 'Levels' - System Configuration
you get a dialog which gives you an idea of the hash table size that is
optimal for your system. Some of the RAM installed on your computer
will be needed for Windows & Chessbase itself. Deduct about 12 Mbytes
for this overhead.
