Hello Eric,
I don't know if other programs take advantage of the problem the way Junior 5
does. I've checked my database of games and the problem has only occured lately
with the Junior 5 vs Fritz 5.32. And the problem is not just with Fritz 5.32 as
"Master", it also happens with Fritz as "Slave". Of my last 52 games between
Junior 5.0 and Fritz 5.32 Junior 5 won 19 games with white using those two
openings. Most of the games are identical untill the game is already won. A few
of the games are identical to the end. If Fritz 5.32 is learning during auto232
matches then it's "Learning" is not very smart. In games against Nimzo99 for
example I can see where Junior 5 tried to repeat games but Nimzo would not let
it happen. Anyway, it's just an observation. If I were the programmer of Fritz
I would want to fix this problem. This is especially true if SSDF is going to
play any future games of Junior 5 vs Fritz 5.32.
