Hi Albert,

True,the PXA27x family does 800 MIPS at 624 MHz and will do 1000 MIPS in the
next generation chip (code named Monahans) which will run at 1.25 GHz.

It will get a 25% performance boost with doubling the speed of the chip. Not
very efficient in my opinion.
