Hi Kurt,

even if usually that's not my cup of tea, I played several 100 games at blitz
level without time increment (3'+0") with Fruit 2.2, both on- and off-line, and
Fruit didn't exceed time on one single occasion so far (!). So the user
reporting this might have another problem...

Also my GUI never froze and if you follow Joachim's advice you will not have any
problems with the engine's parameters.

So I can not quite understand what all this "fuss" is about ;-)
