But I don't think I'm an exception, having Fruit flawlessly running like I do. I thought the parameter-bug was in the September beta-release of Chessprogram8 only. All I can say, off course, is that my experience is good regarding Fruit 2.2 and the January GUI. I've had a little fun with blitz on Playchess a couple of nights, and the engine did well, played some tournament games and matches etc. No problems. The only problem with Fruit that I had, was in CA8.1. On one computer I installed it without problems, on the other it told me that engine didn't support "Universal Chess Interface"! The problem is that I have put Fruit in the UCI folder in Chessbase on my c-drive, but on the second computer I have CA installed on another partion! So I tried to copy the Fruit folder to that partion (in the CA folder), and setup the engine from there instead. Now, no error-message, and it works! :-) This the first time I've experienced that kind problem with an engine, so it seems Fruit has a problem with working over different partions. Regards Henrik
