Certain firmware revisions for D-Link DI-604 wired routers made it nearly impossible to connect to playchess and whenever you could connect, you were very limited in what you could do. I was not willing to risk my network security just to connect to the playchess server to get an update, so Chessbase just gave me the links to manually download new updates. Peter
