Obviously she did!

and simply played against herself and got it but

She's not a Computer. Analyze ANY Game and you will see that neither player
plays the best moves.
What is your point?
Except to demean a truly amazing feat of human calculation?

Correspondence play without Computer assist.
She found the Mate.
